About the Westchester County Democratic Committee

The Westchester County Democratic Committee (WCDC) is the official Democratic Party organization for Westchester County, New York. We recruit and support Democratic candidates for local, county, state, and federal office, mobilize voters, and work year-round to elect leaders who reflect our shared values of fairness, opportunity, and inclusion for every resident of Westchester.

How We're Organized

WCDC is led by a County Chair and a team of officers, supported by Democratic committee members elected from cities, towns, and villages across the county. Six standing committees — Judicial Screening, Bylaws, Platform, Law, Voter Outreach, and Communications — carry out the Committee's work throughout the year.
